1、Web Guiding System
In the tire industry, web guiding system is used to correct material deviation, ensure the material in a right position. to meet the needs of the production process. web guiding system can be used in extrusion line,inner liner productiong line,calender machine, cutter, and forming machine,but the concrete methods on each machine and application is different.
1.1 Calendering production line applications
The fabric calender is the key equipment in the tire pre-production process. The parameters requirements of the position and width of the material during calendering are very high.In the key positions such as cloth unwinder, cooling, storage , composite, lining winding ,need to install web guiding and width measurement system.
In the steel cord calendering process and fiber fabric calendering process, before and after the storage rack position should install a set of guiding system for center guide, and need to calculate the width of the material coming out the storage rack ; Fiber fabric calendering process, before rolled into the oven, one or two sets of double CCD for guiding system should be installed, precisely control the width and location of the web ;and also should install a tension control system before rolling, to prevent the fabric wrinkle, insure the cords are uniformly distributed; In the rewinding station of calendar process, a set of infrared sensor web guiding system should be installed, and used to correct the position of the cloth, rewind the curtain fabric neatly.
1.2 Application on liner / thin film calendering line
In the lining / thin film calendering line, there are web guiding systems for the material and the lining winding and rewinding place, also at laminating place and for the production line material width measurement applications; at laminating place CCD5 master-slave web guiding control system can be applied. Due to the high web guiding accuracy at laminating place and due to the space constraints, the actuator can drive a small deviation. It is better to make the material close to the center before laminating. Therefore, web guiding systems at winding and rewinding place are necessary.
1.3 Applications on tire tread, tire side extrusion line
In the tread, sidewall extrusion line, Techmach web guiding system is mainly used in the winding part of the padded cloth, use an IR80 infrared one-edge web guiding system to detect the edge of the pad.
1.4 Applications on cutter
Small Angle cutter
In a small angle cutter, web guiding system is mainly used in the location of the unwinding position and rewinding position ;According to the technological requirements, sometimes also need to cut the fabric into the same or different width, so before into the cutter, need to add a set of web guiding system to ensure that material has been at the center position, commonly use Techmach CCD5 type web guiding system, the precision can be controlled at about 1 mm.
90 degree cutter
In a 90 degrees cutter,Techmach web guiding system is mainly used in the location of the unwinding, rewinding and stitching.The stitching position needs a very high precision.Techmach generally adopts a set of master-slave web guiidng system to take a piece of material as the master material, only detecting the position without guiding, and the position of the slave material takes the active material as a reference to guide acoordingly, and the guiding accuracy can reach 0.2mm.
1.5 Applications on forming machine
Sidewall and lining
Because in the process of the tire side and the lining liner components, composite dimensional precision and centering precision demand is higher, so before the tyre side and the lining liner lamination should be equipped with a set of centered web guiding system, to ensure that the two kinds of rubber parts lamination size and lamination precision, here generally uses infrared centered guide system. At the same time,before laminating the composite parts above to the building drum , the feeding conveyor belt also need adding a set of digital sensor guiding system, to ensure that the composite parts is precisely in the center of the drum to laminate.
We mainly take the position of the belt ply by a digital sensor, according to the parameters such as width, guid from the left side mode to the center mode to the right side mode ,and then,the belt are fixed in magnetic conveyor belt , and arrived at the location on the forming drum. Through the use of automatic guiding system, belt ply which can realize accurate automatic laminating, without manual operation, improve the production efficiency and product percent of pass.
2、The Intelligent Defect Inspection System
Belt ply and cord fabric is an important part of the tire body, in the production process, because of the the plastic pad on the surface stripping inadequately,defects such as bulges, bubbles or bare surface are produced. These defects will directly affect the tire scrap rate, and even threaten personal safety, resulting in economic losses.
So the belt and carcass ply quality testing is a very important link in the tire production, at present commonly used artificial way to cut the belt or carcass ply at the time of the visual inspection , but the naked eye detection need heavier working intensity, and the inspection results easily influenced by subjective factors, missed inspection and false detection rate is higher .
The intelligent defect inspection system can replace manual testing, greatly increases the speed of inspection,and reduces the labor costs, and improve the reliability of the inspection, improve the efficiency of the whole tire production.
